Have you ever heard something that really "resonated" with you? I'm sure that if you are in tune with yourself emotionally, physically and/or spiritually you will know this experience well. Have you however ever reflected on what it means when something "resonates" with you?
If you reflect on the latter question you will likely come to the conclusion that to say that something resonates with you generally means that what was said feels like "the truth" for you.
Now in this simple realization there are three points I would like to highlight.
Firstly, the feeling of resonance, if you notice it closely is a feeling experience and not an intellectual experience. In other words it does not originate in the mind but in a different place inside you.
In order to appreciate where this feeling lives inside you you need to become aware of one simple fact. That is, that since "you" are the instrument that is resonating with what was said, then the location of the feeling of resonance is the same as where you feel yourself to be inside your body.
If you wish to locate "yourself" inside your body just think of something that you really "resonate" with and notice where you feel the resonance feeling inside your body.
Secondly, you will, if you followed me closely on the first point recognize that "you" are therefore NOT your "mind". You are in fact somewhere other than your mind. Where you feel the resonance is in fact where you are. Does that resonate with you?
Thirdly, the very fact that something inside of you is able to resonate at all with something that is said means that there must be an inner intelligence inside you that already "knows" what is and what is not true for you.
What's interesting again is that this inner intelligence has little if anything tho do with your intellect or your mind because as you've noticed it is located somwhere other than in your mind. You'll also recognize that since the feeling of resonance originates in a place where "you" feel yourself to be that inner intelligence is YOU!
So in summary. from this simple experiment you will recognize that:
1. To say "I resonate with what was said" means "what was said is true for me".
2. This feeling of resonance or truthfulness does not originate in the intellect or mind but where one experiences themselves to be in their body.
3. This feeling of resonance corresponds to an inner intelligence that is beyond mind or brain and that does not rely on the latter for knowledge.
4. This inner intelligence is YOU!
5. Finally, if you are this inner intelligence what has been the purpose of identifying yourself with what is stored in your mind?

Releasing the Yoke
When the Bible makes reference to a "yoke" it is referring to a heavy piece of wood shaped to fit around the neck and fasten to a pole. It was primarily used to tie oxen together (usually two); the older ox had its yoke and the younger had its yoke.
The Hidden Cost of FREE
Are you always looking for bargains, especially something that you can get for free? The thought is that this will somehow enhance your life and perhaps make you feel more empowered, correct?Well I would like to bring your attention to the real hidden cost of choosing to accept anything for free. What does the idea that one needs to have something for free say about that individual? Well it says that that individual is choosing to believe that they do not have the capacity to create anything of value themselves.
Do You Really Want to Know the Truth?
Back in 1992, Jack Nicholson and Tom Cruise co-starred in a movie entitled A Few Good Men. The high point of the film, in my view, was a classic, heated exchange between their characters, during which Kaffee (the military attorney played by Cruise) says: "I want the truth," and Col.
Love and Light
Seems that everyone who writes to me signs their letters "love and light." It has such a bright uplifting sound to it.
Attract and hold your family at home with some unique spiritual & New Age special washes inherited from the Hoodoo practice which combines elements of African and European magical, religious, and witchcraft traditions and a little bit of the Native American use of herbal and botanical wisdom. What is known in the southern United States as Hoodoo is simply a traditional form of magic, not a religion, which uses the occult and supernatural elements of the Christian, Jewish and European practices.
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Ephesians 4:32, NIVI know, I always use animal photos in my visual aids and use them as examples in my writings but they are my gift and my passion! Besides, they can always show us how forgiveness works, can't they? You can be angry with them and they'll still shower you with love.
God Loves You With the Love of God
Do you ever feel that what you read in some Christian books is not really God's truth at all, but is merely the opinion of the writer, dressed up in the clothing of truth? Such books are merely imposters and are like the fig tree Jesus cursed-they look promising on the outside, but when you get up close, you find that they, like the fig tree, are barren, written for the glory of the writer and his or her ideas, not for the truth of God and his glory.Unfortunately, many sermons and teachings fall into the same category.

Stress & Spirituality, Part 1
Stress & Spirituality - How Spirituality Affects Stress LevelsTake a moment to close your eyes and think about what a 'spiritual' person looks like. Whether you see them as sitting lotus-style in saffron robes or speaking emphatically from a pulpit, I'd bet one thing you won't see them as is 'stressed'.
True Justice and Freedom
The world's idea of justice and freedom fall short of their purpose. Prison bars keep the guilty from repeating their crime while behind them.
New Every Morning
I have almost died twice in my life. The first time was from pneumonia when I was 4 years old.
What does the story of your life say about you? Does it speak of heroic journeys into new and exciting lands of achievement and growth? Or is it an angry and repetitive diatribe against the vagaries of a wantonly malicious universe? Does it sing with finely crafted phrasing and uplifting themes? Or is it plodding, dreary and full of errors, omissions and clichés?Some people feel their destiny to be carved in stone. I believe that our lives are an ongoing exercise in creative writing and as such it is always possible to cease following the storyline that we have been using to illustrate our lives with up to this point, open to a fresh page and start anew.
Why There Are Four Gospels
The first gospel written by Matthew, who is Levi, is the first archtype of Christ in you as the fulness of the Godhead. The second gospel by Mark is the second archtype of Christ.

The Great Battleground
Being a Christian does not exempt us from having to fight daily with the problem of sin in our lives. We know that being saved does not mean we are perfect.
There is Light at the End of the Tunnel - Just Get Out of Your Way !
There is light at the end of the tunnel, but some days it seems like it is miles away. The Terminus of Existence
Setting boundaries is a common expression that we hear almost daily. We hear of our need to set personal boundaries; an invisible dividing line drawn between ourselves and others, a line that represents the point where public space ends and our own private space begins, so to speak.
