Be Still - You've Got To Be Kidding?
Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God. Can you even imagine being still? I think this verse was specifically written for the harried times we live in. You may be saying to yourself if I am still I will fall asleep. I have to keep moving to get everything done. Do you find it difficult in your quiet time to just be still and listen to God? Do you often start thinking of what you need to do tomorrow or get at the grocery? God is asking us to be still, quiet and know Him. We can't know Him if we don't spend time with Him. Have you ever noticed that you often feel closer to God when you are in nature? You take a walk in the woods or go to the ocean and you are in awe of His creation. I often think we feel closer to God in nature, because it is quiet. David was a shepherd, some of the disciples were fisherman - plenty of time to talk and listen to God. I remember several times in my quiet times that God continue to bring this verse to my mind and rest in Him.
Are you afraid of the quiet? As working Moms we are always busy and stopping to think is not always a luxury we have. It is almost if we slow down everything will come crashing down. Do you allow yourself those quiet moments with yourself and God? I know this is really hard if you have young children - you often don't even get to go to the bathroom. If you do get to go to the bathroom it seems you are hardly there alone. Make time to be still and know. Don't pray for others or yourself, take time to listen to what God has to tell you. You will be blessed by being still and knowing God.
Word of Encouragement: God knows we are busy, yet He patiently waits for us to talk with Him. I would encourage you sometime this week to take 15 minutes to 1/2 hour to just be still and know God. Listen for his still small voice. Don't be surprised if this is hard to do, but the rewards are worth it. Listen to Him.
Prayer Thought: Lord, you know it is hard for me to turn my brain off sometimes. It is hard for me to focus on you. Help me to take the time to just listen to you and bask in your glory. Help me to learn to depend on You and all your knowledge. Help me in this fast paced world to be still.

Is it really possible that Don Juan could command the movement of Carlos' attention point or time reference point to another dimension that he calls the Nagual and the sorcerer's perspective? Can the adeptness of one person rise to know you better than you know yourself even at the level of the body conscious focus on the material world? Is INFINITY like the multi-dimensional soul which at some point is harmonized in ethics so much that it laughs at the stupidity of the soulful entities exploring the naive denial and rationalizing games our personalities playas we avoid the purpose of our soul? Could Don Juan shape-shift his alter egos and other dimension energy to become the reflection or mirror of the inner character of the student seeking to label something he knows so little about, in an "elaborate" construct that would be akin to a crook yet academically sound? Did he command this laughter response in another that easily?Have you ever looked into yourself so deeply that you "didn't care to apologize" and "found the thought inadmissible"? What a life and so little holes in your soul you would have if only you were so wise and yet, what a curse and quite unlike 'any blessing it would be. Your knowledge of others and their intentions would make you feel so alone and so devastatingly unable to convey to others what games the ego does play.
Is America Losing Its Religion?
Has America known its finest hour? Are we losing our religion and sanity as well? What is wrong with our society anyway? These are baffling questions that are frequently being asked by more and more people, even the media. From environmental pollution to spiritual pollution, from artificial food to artificial joy - these are the side effects of the pursuit of materialism (a by-product of the American Dream, as we know it).

The Gratitude Toll
I very often see rants, complaints, wishes and dreams that have a similar theme, and that theme goes something like this: "Here is my dream and here is what I have been able to do, but I can't seem to get any further and it feels like I've hit a brick wall. No matter what I do, I can't seem to bring more (customers, gigs, sales, days, money, friends, etc.

Why Sit Here Until I Die?
The bible tells a story about four men who sat at the entrance of the city's gate dying with leprosy, an incurable disease which causes terribly visible swelling and sores on the skin, only then to eat inward to the bones. Because of this contagious and incurable disease, these lepers sat outside of the city because they were not permitted to live within the city.

Astrology & The Bible: Age of Aquarius
The normal Aquarian preoccupation with rational science is clearly seen in the way that our civilization is becoming increasingly based on, and dominated by science and technology. However, the keyword of Aquarius is 'humanity' and it is to be hoped that this quality will modify the present over emphasis on science, harnessing it more to the actual needs of man, than simply to what is technically possible.

One of the most frightening things about melting from a normal, Solid, ego-based lifestyle, to a more Liquid, dynamic, spiritual one is that some concepts that you always assumed to be sound and good and true, start to lose their solidity. The very glue that holds together this solid, stable world begins to lose its cohesion.
